DNS remoto su VPN

Hi
we have two DC on different sites connected through VPN with Check Point Firewall.

Some services (AD, file server, ecc..) are accessed through VPN, some others (Citrix) could be accessed either through VPN either through https over internet.
The DNS resolves the Citrix server internally (i.e. 172.x.x.x)
What happens if VPN fails?
The DNS should "redirect" the Citrix to the external IP address.
Is it possible without user interaction?
Of course the remote DC is not managed locally but remotely from the headquarter.

hi giulitn,

you can use a software for detect the status of your vpn connection. of course this kind of software must be write "at home". with the netsh command you can change the lan configuration without user interaction.

ps: this is an italian forum....
