Nella giornata di ieri è stato rilasciato il nuovo Veeam Management Pack v8 per System Center. Tra le novità introdotte ci sono:
- Supporto a VMware vSphere 6
- Enhanced Hyper-V management
- Veeam Morning Coffee Dashboard & Report
- Hybrid Cloud planning for Microsoft Azure and VMware vCloud Air
- Detailed snapshot and checkpoint tracking
Oltre a questo, il team ha migliorato il monitoraggio della parte relativa a Backup & Replication, introducendo le seguenti novità:
- Backup Infrastructure Assessment report
- Job Configuration Change Tracking
- Delegated Restore Permissions Overview report
- RPO Monitor, proactively generates alerts if RPO targets are in danger of falling outside of preconfigured ranges
- Job transport mode failover, generates an alert when a backup job fails to use the recommended, more robust VM disk-backup methods
- Backup version monitor, tracks the versions of Veeam
